JOE

July is full of activities all around and we have had our share too, so we missed our scheduled post, but we could not skip mentioning a special presentation coming up by Joe.

Joe is an English College teacher that decided to join our 
Sundown Storytelling program a while ago.  On special occasions one of his many puppets will tell the story of how we crossed paths thanks to an owl that flew his way. 

--It was a giant card holder in the shape of an owl where we advertised our programs.–

 This is how we met, when he returned the owl and shared with us his love for books and creative writing.  This led to wonderful writing workshops, guitar lessons, and not only did he fill in immediately as our emergency narrator replacement, but he took over the program emphasizing it with an interactive puppet show.  A show that became full-blown and went on the road.  This show is so concentrated that there is no other way to name it other than:

It has everything, music, puppets, improvisation, storytelling, book reading, crafts, and much more.  He is constantly volunteering to contribute to community literacy programs, so give his FB page a visit to check presentation dates, and don’t forget to share with your friends.
